[September 23, 2010]  CRETE, Neb. (AP) -- Authorities in eastern Nebraska say a gunman opened fire at a cold storage facility outside Crete, injuring three people before apparently turning the gun on himself.

Saline County Sheriff Alan Moore says about 35 people were at the Americold Logistics facility when the shooting began around 10 p.m. Wednesday. Moore says the gunman, who hasn't been identified, was an employee there.

Authorities arrived on the scene to find the gunman dead outside. Moore told the Journal Star of Lincoln that it appeared he died of a self-inflicted wound.

The three who were wounded were taken to area hospitals.
