Chelsea Jones received $1,500 toward her education at Methodist
College of Nursing in Peoria. Brittney Greitman was awarded $1,000
to help with her educational goals at Western Illinois University in
Macomb. Devan Conley and Jenna Hubrich were each awarded $1,000 for
their education at Heartland Community College in Normal. "Because
young people are such a critical part of our team, we are proud to
recognize our student team members who excel in school and work hard
to deliver a memorable experience for our guests," said Elaine Aue,
owner-operator of Culver's of Lincoln. "All of these girls have a
strong commitment to excellence and academic achievement, and we
know they will be successful in whatever career path is chosen."
Chelsea and Brittney have both decided on nursing for a career
path. Devan plans on becoming a veterinarian, and Jenna, already a
manager at Culver's, is majoring in small business management.
"Culver's dedication to our people extends beyond our own
workplaces," said Len Culver, Culver's co-founder and executive
director of the VIP Scholarship Fund. "With tuition and fees
continuing to rise at colleges and universities, this scholarship
program allows us to help many of our young team members achieve
their dreams of higher education."
Since Culver's began the scholarship program in 1993, it has
invested more than $1.6 million in student scholarships to more than
1,600 team members.
