Filling 10,000 plastic eggs
with candy is a time-consuming effort. This year the Lincoln Park
District got some much-appreciated help from the folks at Logan-Mason Rehab.
But once those eggs were filled, they still had to be scattered for
each of the four hunts that took place Saturday morning.
With the use of a tractor and trailer, and some very energetic
volunteers, the task was quick and easy.

Other volunteers are enjoying the task as

Police Chief Ken Greenslate even got in on
this action with a sideways, over-the-shoulder tossing method.

As soon as the eggs are on the ground, kids
scramble to pick them all back up again. |

Eggs were emptied of their bounty and returned
to the park district for next year's hunt.

And golf balls were redeemed for special
prizes such as stuffed bunnies!
