Stars aim for bargains at NY charity-fashion event

[August 01, 2011]  WATER MILL, N.Y. (AP) -- Kelly Ripa, Rachel Zoe and Emma Roberts have joined other stars on a mission to find the best bargains at a high-fashion shopping event for charity on New York's Long Island.

Celebrities such as Donna Karan, Gayle King and actor Chord Overstreet also attended Super Saturday in Water Mill, which raises money for the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund. Jimmy Choo, Theory, Piperlime.com and One Kings Lane were among the 200 brand names that discounted their goods for the cause.

Ripa acted as a co-host for the second year in a row and says she was excited to get a chance to shop -- something that eluded her last time.

Roberts also co-hosted the event and says she was out the lookout for anything by the line Chloe.
