The volunteer leaders for this group include a
robotics researcher and a certified GPS/GIS-RS trainer.All youth
from fourth grade to high school, both 4-H members and nonmembers,
are invited to an informational meeting on Aug. 22 from 6 to 8 p.m.
at University of Illinois Extension Building 30 on the state
fairgrounds in Springfield. Enter from Gate 7 or 11. Parents or
grandparents are encouraged to attend with their children or
grandchildren, and it provides an opportunity to meet the expert
volunteer leaders. There is no cost to come to the informational
meeting.
Meetings and workshops in Lincoln are planned for eight weeks, on
Mondays, beginning Sept 19 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Logan County
Extension building.
There is a $20 4-H program fee, good for one year, for new 4-H
members.
