Thursday morning at the 4-H
Beef Show, there were two segments: steers and heifers. In each
segment animals were judged according to their breed, and a champion
of the breed was awarded.
During the awarding of Simmental champion steer, Andrew Renfrow was
awarded for the breed champion and in addition received a special honor courtesy of
Mr. and Mrs. Larry Leesman in memory of their son John.
