Here are the 2011 Logan County Fair Cake Classic winners. The goodies auctioned off brought in an auction total of $3,950.

Gifts for the bakers were sponsored by Lincoln Daily News.

First place -- Elizabeth Carter, spice cake, purchased for $750 by Culler's French Fries.

Third place -- Rebekah Crider, angel food cake, purchased for $500 by Harold Goodman.

Fourth place -- Karen Sandel, German chocolate cake, purchased for $500 by Harold Goodman.

Marjorie White, chiffon cake, purchased for $550 by Country Fryer.

James Carter, red velvet cake, purchased for $450 by Jim Xamis.

Miriam Carter, white butter cake, purchased for $400 by John McCullough and Wayne Hanner.
