Street Stocks and Modifieds
tear up the track at Lincoln Speedway.
On Saturday night, Mother Nature did Norm Horn and the Lincoln
Speedway a favor, when she dropped only slight sprinkles on the
track early in the evening, then moved on eastward.
While the races were under way, a rainbow in the east showed that at
least someone in Logan County got a little rain.
In the meantime, though, race fans who came to see their regular
favorites in Street Stock and Modified classes were not disappointed
as the evening produced a terrific show for the local boys as well
as those coming in for the POWRi Midget and Winged Sprint races.
For full details of the racing action, be sure to check out the
report from the Lincoln Speedway in our Local Sports section.

If they were going any faster, there would be
nothing but a blur!

feature.

Brian Lynn, aka "Flyin' Brian," captured his 10th
feature win of the 2011 season. Lynn hails from Mason City and has
