Is there anything more
beautiful or more serene than watching a hot air balloon in the
early morning light, drifting across a brilliant blue sky? While the
question may be subject to personal opinion, for balloonists and
balloon enthusiasts, they will tell you nothing is more
beautiful.
Saturday morning, with a very light breeze coming from the north to
northeast, the annual balloon fly-in took place at the Logan County
Airport.
To the delight of those who rose early and made their way out to the
airport to watch, the balloonists floated in, threw their beanbags at
the targets as part of their annual competition, then landed on the
green runways of the airport.
