Friday afternoon folks
ventured to the uptown area to watch the second annual kickoff
parade for the art and
balloon fest. Several of the pilots drove their haulers in the
parade, and some local celebrities were also in the mix, including
our newest royalty, Miss Logan County Kelsi Ubbenga and Little Miss Logan County Julia Collins. Mayor
Keith Snyder was seen in the passenger seat of a city of Lincoln
squad car, and city Aldermen Jeff Hoinacki, Marty Neitzel and Joni Tibbs rode in the bucket of a
city fire
truck.
