Crude has jumped from $75 during the last two months amid signs the U.S. economy will likely avoid a recession. Investors were cheered by the Labor Department's November jobs report Friday that showed the economy added 120,000 jobs last month and the unemployment rate fell to 8.6 percent from 9.0 percent. In other Nymex trading, natural gas fell 1.8 cents to $3.57 per 1,000 cubic feet. Heating oil added 3.4 cents to $3.02 a gallon and gasoline futures gained 3.9 cents to $2.66 a gallon.
