Hartsburg-Emden placed first at the Section 14 FFA agronomy contest. Three Hartem FFA members placed in the top 10 individuals: Noah Cross, third; Josiah Klokkenga, fourth; and Cody Conrady, seventh overall. Other members contributing to the team's efforts were Robby Meeker, Dirk Conrady, Cole Baker, Zach Bryan, Savannah Conrady and Randy Grohmann.
Noah, Josiah, Cody and Robby will now attend the state agronomy contest at the University of Illinois this month.
