Postville Courthouse celebrates Abe's birthday

It was cold outside but there were warm wishes inside the Postville Courthouse on Saturday. Community members gathered to honor the birthday of the man who shares his name with the city: President Abraham Lincoln.

Period music and instruments were explained by Mike Anderson.

 

Anderson plays the "jaws harp," which is known by many names.

And there was cake and punch to celebrate Abe's birthday.
