[February 24, 2011]  JUNEAU, Alaska (AP) -- Sarah Palin is headed to India for one of the few overseas trips she's taken since her vice presidential run in 2008.

Palin is scheduled to deliver a keynote address, entitled "My Vision of America," on March 19 during the India Today Conclave.

Among other scheduled speakers is India's prime minister.

Palin's planned appearance was confirmed by an aide Wednesday, and previously reported by The Washington Post.

Palin, who has said she's mulling a presidential run, has made few international appearances since 2008.

She spoke on issues including U.S.-China relations in 2009 in Hong Kong, months after she resigned partway through her first term as Alaska's governor. In December, she traveled to Haiti with the Rev. Franklin Graham as part of the outreach of his Samaritan's Purse relief organization.
