[January 26, 2011]  Police and accident reports for Wednesday, Jan. 26:

Accidents

Jan. 25, 11:37 a.m.

Accident occurred at the intersection of Tremont and North Kickapoo.

  • Pollock Jr., John M., 31, of Lincoln; 2008 Ford Econoline E350 owned by Comcast of IL/IN/OH LLC, Springfield

  • Palladini, Jody R., 39, of Lincoln; 2000 Ford F150 owned by Jason Dean Anderson

According to Palladini, she was eastbound on Tremont and stopped at the stop sign at North Kickapoo when she was hit from behind by Pollock.

Pollock said that he was stopped at the intersection behind Palladini. She began to drive forward, then suddenly stopped. Pollock said his foot slipped from the brake and he rolled into her.

A passenger in the Palladini vehicle, Jason Anderson, was said to have exited the car holding his head and neck. Anderson and Palladini were both transported to Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital by the Logan County Paramedics.

Pollock was cited for driving too fast for conditions, failure to yield.

Lincoln Police Department

  • Huskins, Ronald W., 49, of the 200 block of South Washington, arrested in the 100 block of Sangamon on charge of driving under the influence and possession of drug paraphernalia.

  • Viner, Lance M., 28, of the 1500 block of Broadway, arrested Jan. 24 on a Logan County body attachment warrant.

Logan County Sheriff's Department

  • Webb, Dustan R., 28, of Macon, arrested Jan. 24 on Illinois Route 121 on a Logan County warrant for failure to appear in answer to charge of driving with a revoked license.
