Yesterday morning 35
youngsters from the Y summer camp visited the Lincoln Fire
Department. Firefighters explained the equipment they wear. The firefighters spent time making sure the
children
understood that in the event of a fire, when they see someone
dressed like this firefighter, to come to them and not be afraid.
Such lessons could someday save the life of one of these children.
