DESCRIPTION OF PROPERTY: This
property consists of a 2 story brick structure that was built in 1922.
The main building consists of:
1ST. FLOOR: 3 classrooms, office and
boys and girls restrooms.
2nd FLOOR: 6 classrooms.
Several of the classrooms have built in wooden cabinets that appear to
be oak.
GYMNASIUM: original wooden
floor, wooden bleachers, a balcony with seating area and also a stage.
2738 sq. ft. 1 story addition built
in 1957 adjoins the main building and consists of a classroom,
handicapped accessible restroom, maintenance storage room, and a
cafeteria area with a kitchen.
Also there is a basement where the boilers are located in which there is
approximately 800 sq. ft.
Total Sq. Footage is 18,633. Newer style double pane windows were
installed in the building in the 1980s, with 2 Kewanee hot water boilers
installed in 1998. Wheel chair lift to the 2nd floor will stay with the
building along with all of the play ground equipment. and the S.S. hood
and ansul system in the kitchen.
There is city water and city sewage to the property. This building has
been kept up, well maintained and appears to be in very good condition.
It is situated on 5 ac. M/L of land that will be sold with the building.
