"This is a true testament to the team we have in Lincoln. They are
not only committed to providing high-quality water service, but to
also following all necessary procedures and receiving continued
education to ensure team safety," Schonauer said.
The Lincoln District conducts safety training for forklift
operation, trenching and shoring, respiratory protection, and
confined spaces on a regular basis. Training includes both classroom
and hands-on training. Lincoln District employees also participate
in facility and job site audits at every job site to ensure
compliance with established workplace safety practices.
The Lincoln District has over 5,100 customer connections. Total
population served is approximately 18,000 people.
