the Princess Tea in their satin and flowered dresses, excited to
spend the day together.

Vera Thomas checked names as guests arrived at
the Princess Tea on Saturday. Reservations were required, and

Gay Bowen made a Rapunzel cake to match her
table's theme, featuring the storybook character and heroine from
the recent movie "Tangled."
|
As a centerpiece for her table and a complement
to Gay Bowen's cake, Julie Atwood built a tower with Rapunzel peering out the window. Julie
has four children and said there is always something "crafty" going on at their house. |

Hannah Crider dressed as Snow White, creating
a good image that included a pair of slippers and headscarf.
|
White ostrich feathers and contrasting
Harlequin masks with sparkles made quite a statement, especially
when reflected by one of the costumes.
|
|
Pirate princesses Lorraine Allen and Rebekah
Crider were originators of their table's theme and decorations.
Shiny baubles and jewelry expressed the event's overall theme, "Find
Your Sparkle." Rebekah made the PowerPoint presentation that played
as background for the after-lunch program.

Girls and their moms, grandmothers, aunts and
cousins filled 15 tables in the Lincoln Christian Church Fellowship
Center.
