Woodstock
Percussion Inc. is recalling Gripper Shaker musical instruments
sold nationwide and in Canada from August 2010 to March 2011.
The handle can detach from the shaker, exposing a rough edge and
posing a laceration hazard. The detached handle also exposes
small steel pellets and a plastic plug which pose choking
hazards.
The shakers are
plastic musical instruments, 5.5 inches long, with rounded,
egg-shaped tops containing steel pellets and open circular
handles. They come in blue and green and are sold separately.
The marking "B4" is printed on the rounded top of each shaker.

Kahn Enterprises
LLC is recalling Beeni Baby Hats sold nationwide from January
2009 to May 2011. A baby can spit up during use, posing an
asphyxiation hazard.
The recalled baby
hats have two straps sewn to the sides and a removable plastic
pacifier holder. The hat is available in sizes small, medium and
large, and in pink, blue, green, flower print, blue stripe and
blue print. Model number 125867 is on a tag sewn into the back
inner rim of the cap.

Inc. is recalling Elna Sewing Machines sold nationwide from
September 2010 to April 2011. The wires inside the sewing
machine can short circuit, posing a risk of fire.
This recall
involves the Elna eXcellence 740 sewing machine. The machine is
white and navy with a digital touch panel. "Elna" and "eXcellence
740" are printed on the front of the machine.

return the item to the store where it was purchased for a free
repair.

HELMETS
Bell Sports is
recalling full-face bicycle helmets sold nationwide and in
Canada from August 2009 to March 2011. The plastic buckle that
connects the chin straps can fail, causing the helmet to come
off the wearer's head. This poses a head injury hazard to riders
in the event of a fall.
This recall
involves Bell Exodus full-face helmets with a plastic buckle on
the chinstrap and model and part numbers listed at
www.recalls.org. The
helmets have an angled visor and were sold in youth size. The
model and part number can be found on a removable sticker
located on the side of the helmet.
