Earthquake southwest of St. Louis this morning

[June 07, 2011]  An earthquake was reported by many people in central and eastern Missouri and southwest Illinois early this morning. No damage has been reported.

HardwareThe National Earthquake Information Center in Golden, Colo., has indicated that an earthquake of magnitude 4.2 on the Richter scale occurred at 3:10 a.m. and was centered at 38.121 degrees north, 90.933 degrees west. This location is about 14 miles east-southeast of Sullivan, Mo., or about 51 miles southwest of St. Louis, Mo.
