When The Christian Village and
Logan County Paramedic Association decided to work together to hold
a family day at the LCPA and Lincoln Rural Fire District campus, they did it
in style, inviting several local agencies to participate and
offering a wide variety of entertaining and educational options for
those who decided to pay a visit.
They also decided to add to the appeal by serving a free hot dog
lunch and offering a bounce house for the kids.
When the day began Saturday, everything fell into place. Everyone
who agreed to participate was there, the CPR and AED training was
divided into three sessions and took place throughout the day, and
the Air Evac Lifeteam even came in and spent part of the morning
showing the public their helicopter and explaining what they do and
how.
