The Lincoln Area Music Society kicked off the "Concert in the Park" series Sunday evening.

For the 175-plus in attendance, the evening was almost perfect with just a bit of a chill in the air.

This was the first concert in the series, with three more planned on June 19 and 26 and July 3.
