Saturday
morning several young firefighters attended a training day at the
Lincoln Rural Fire Protection District.
Many of these men were new firefighters who are still learning their
way around the profession they have chosen.
Also in the group were a few members of the Explorers. The Explorers
is a youth organization for young men and women who think they might
want to pursue firefighting as a career. Attending the trainings
helps them to see what is in their future and decide if it is
indeed their career calling.
