Summer reading -- The Lincoln Public
Library Summer Reading Program runs in June and July. Sign-up week
was May 31-June 4. If you were unable to register then, come in as
soon as you can to allow the longest amount of time to read and win
prizes. The program is offered to children 6 months through 12 years
old, and this year's theme is "A Midsummer Knight's Read!" Set your
reading goal, keep track on your reading log, and bring it to the
library to win prizes as you progress. The summer program also
offers special events on Thursdays, with professional performers.
The library's Teen Summer Reading Program begins June 6 for ages
13-18. Information on these programs is available in the Youth
Services Department.
