The Relay for Life
planned for Friday and Saturday has been moved inside the Lincoln
Center at Lincoln College. Teams can start setting up at 3:30 p.m.
Activities will start and go on as planned -- just inside at Lincoln
Center. See
details. |
Check LDN's community
calendar. It's another
busy weekend in Logan County, and many activities, such as the
D.A.R.E golf outing and Relay for Life, start today. Make your list
of events you want to attend and LDN will see you there.
Convoy
for Kids, a fundraising event for St. Jude's Children Research
Hospital, will be in Mason City on Saturday, beginning at 11 a.m. in
Memorial Park. Semi trucks will be on display, and monetary votes for their
appearance will be donated to St. Jude's. Other activities will include food
vendors, raffles and games. Trucks will parade from the park to Illini
Central School at 5:30 p.m., where trophies will be given to truck
owners. The movie "Smokey and the Bandit" will be shown at dusk, weather
permitting.
