Sunday evening the Logan County Fair board president, Dean Bruns (foreground), with board secretary Mike Maske welcomed guests to the annual appreciation dinner for all those who serve as superintendents at the Logan County Fair. This year the fair will celebrate its 75th year. The fair will kick off on Aug. 2 and run through Aug. 7. This year’s grandstand highlights will include the queen pageant, tractor pulls, demo derby; the well-known country music group Lonestar, afternoon harness racing, the 4-H scrambles and 4-H horse show. The fair office is open now for advance sales of tickets. The fair also has a new website this year, www.logancountyfairil.com.
