Investigators say text messages sent shortly before the January 16 crash indicated the teens planned on speeding and jumping a dip in the road.
Sixteen-year-olds John Griffith and Cody Hollinger and 15-year-olds Nicolas Bryson and DeVaughn Lee died when their car went sideways and was struck by another vehicle. The teens had left a breakfast for Manheim Central High School football players shortly before the crash.
Police were investigating whether the teens were recording a video at the time of the crash. South Londonderry Township police Chief Jeffrey Arnold says no such recording was found.
