FFA plant sale, National Day of Prayer, Together
for Lincoln and VFW special meeting in Close Up

The
Lincoln FFA will have a plant sale on Tuesday, May 3, from
3:30 to 5:30 p.m. in the LCHS greenhouse. The chapter will have a
huge selection of vegetables and flowers. All four-packs are just
$1. |
The
National Day of Prayer in Lincoln and Logan County will
include a gathering to pray for our community and country. Meet with
various churches in a nondenominational observance Thursday, May 5.
The theme this year is "A Mighty Fortress Is Our God." The prayer
will be at the Logan County Courthouse rotunda at noon.
Together
for Lincoln invites the public to attend their drive-thru pork
chop dinner on Thursday, May 5. All proceeds will be used for
Together for Lincoln projects. Advance tickets can be purchased at
Jefferson Street Christian Church from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The dinner
will be at the Lincoln IGA, 713 Pulaski from 4 to 7 p.m. Walk-ups
will be welcome.
