[May 12, 2011]  WASHINGTON (AP) -- The head of the Democratic Party is accusing Republican Mitt Romney of having "no convictions" because he backs repealing President Barack Obama's health care overhaul even though it's very similar to the one Romney implemented in Massachusetts.

Florida Democratic Rep. Debbie Wasserman-Schultz was asked on ABC's "Good Morning America" to say how formidable an opponent she thought Romney could be next year if he's the Republican nominee.

She replied, "What I think is unfortunate about Mitt Romney is that he doesn't even know who he is." Wasserman-Schultz said voters aren't looking for "someone who has no convictions."

Romney is scheduled to give a speech later Thursday in Michigan in which he will make clear he opposes Obama's policy but will not renounce the one he pursued as governor of Massachusetts.
