ONE DAY
CLOSER CONCERT AT OPEN ARMS CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP
One Day Closer will be in concert ministering at Open
Arms Christian Fellowship 311 Broadway in Lincoln on
Friday, June 10th at 7:00 PM.
One Day Closer is an energy and worship-driven Christian
rock band from Central Illinois who's been said to
really "pack a punch". Originally starting as a
cover-only band, ODC plays a variety of popular
Christian songs heard on local Christian radio. Now
having written nearly enough originals for 2 full
albums, the band plays a vast mixture of both worlds on
stage. They strive to bring an up close, personal, and
very professional atmosphere with them to every venue,
yet keeping worship a priority. The band consists of 5
members, Josh Ummel - guitar and lead vocals, Christian
Tallent - piano and vocals, Jason Watt - lead guitar,
Archie Nowell - bass guitar, and Isaac Ummel - drums.
"We work to follow God's plan first of all and take baby
steps in a forward direction" says Josh Ummel (lead
vocalist). ODC's motto: "Follow your heart, chase your
dreams, and live your passion". The doors will open at
5:00 PM with a special Family Fun Day 2011 Spaghetti
Dinner Fundraiser which will last until 6:30 PM. The
cost is a donation. All profits will go to Family Fun
Day 2011. For more information, contact the church
office at 217.732.4800.
