[May 26, 2011]  BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (AP) -- An illustrator for DC Comics has pleaded not guilty to possessing child pornography.

Authorities say 38-year-old Josue Rivera, who draws under the name Justiniano, had more than 150 pictures and videos of children on his home computer.

According to the court clerk's office, Rivera entered his plea Tuesday before Superior Court Judge George Thim to first-degree possession of child pornography and asked for a jury trial. He's due back in court on June 8.

Rivera was arrested May 10 after police said he accidentally gave a local funeral home director a flash drive containing child pornography instead of one that had photographs of a deceased relative.

The Connecticut Post first reported the plea.
