Two students from Zion Lutheran School in Lincoln placed at the recent Lutheran school state track and field meet at Concordia University in Chicago. Anna Sielaff, a sixth-grader, won third place in the discus throw and ninth in the shot put. Ben Steiner, a seventh-grader, placed seventh in the shot put. 

Zion Lutheran School participants at the state meet were Jim Sielaff in the long jump, 100 meter, 200 meter and 4x100 relay; Logan Thompson, 110-meter hurdles, 200 meter and 4x100 relay; Ben Steiner, shot put and discus; Elizabeth Tripplett, shot put and discus; Anna Sielaff, shot put and discus; Caleb Fink,  4x100 relay; and Braydon Simpson, 4x100 relay.

Zion Lutheran track and field coaches were John Beccue, Autum Robison and Jan Sielaff.
