Zion Lutheran School eighth-graders each served with a classmate as a page in the Illinois House of Representatives at the Capitol building in Springfield.

Arrangements were made through the office of Rep. Rich Brauer.

Students were on the House floor and ran errands for the members while they were in session. ZLS students also had the opportunity to tour the Capitol, meet with Sen. Larry Bomke and Lt. Gov. Sheila Simon, tour Secretary of State Jesse White's office, visit Gov. Pat Quinn's office, and other memorable experiences.
