Monday evening, the fifth annual
Airport Daze celebration ended with a USO-style hanger dance. The
Jim Markum Swing Band provided music form the 1940s, and many of the
visitors came prepared to "cut a rug."
As the music began, the dance floor became a very popular place.
Those who sat on the sides and watched were treated to some very
impressive moves by the couples on the floor.
Some of the dancers dressed in
period clothing, making the event and the evening in general all the
more fun and entertaining.
