[November 16, 2011]  EXETER, N.H. (AP) -- President Obama is scheduled to visit New Hampshire next week to promote his stalled jobs plan.

The White House hasn't released many details, but says the president will travel to Manchester, the state's largest city, on Tuesday. It will be among his first stops after returning from a nine-day trip to Hawaii, Australia and Indonesia.

The Obama administration has been paying particular attention to New Hampshire recently. Vice President Joe Biden has visited the Granite State twice in the last three weeks.

New Hampshire is considered a swing state in next year's presidential election and Republicans competing to oppose him have swarmed to the state in recent months to prepare for the Jan. 10 GOP primary.

The White House says Obama will discuss the jobs plan that's stalled in Congress.
