ST. CHARLES, Mo. -- This weekend
the No. 6-ranked Lincoln College wrestling team traveled to St.
Charles, Mo., to compete in the Lindenwood Open. The Lynx had a
tough day competing against the likes of Iowa, Oklahoma and
Missouri, among other top-notch NCAA and NAIA schools.

The team came away with one placer for the tournament in Prentice
Thomas, who finished fourth at the 125-pound weight class. His two
losses both came to wrestlers for the University of Iowa. "Today
was a good day to learn and grow as competitors for our team," said
Lincoln coach Steven Bradley. "We need to continue to train hard and
improve to make ourselves better for the future."
Two weekends from now the team will travel to Wabash College to
compete in the Indiana Little State Tournament.
