Friday evening visitors to downtown
Lincoln enjoyed another great Christmas parade. The annual event
appeared to go off without a hitch, due in large part to those who
volunteered to help out.
Wanda Lee Rohlfs, executive director of Main Street Lincoln,
requested Saturday that LDN publish special acknowledgments
to those who made the parade a success.
"Thanks to Pastor Robert Henderson for announcing the Christmas
parade," Rohlfs said. "We also appreciate our judges, Angie Ott, Don
Peasley and Richard Sumrall.
"And, Main Street Lincoln would like to thank Andy and Melody
Anderson, Mona Kattleman, Les Richert, and Scott Werner for their
assistance in directing the lineup for the parade."
Rohlfs finished by saying, "The city of Lincoln and Main Street Lincoln
appreciate the participation of the parade entries and the community
support."
