4-H clubs make window displays

[October 05, 2011]  Logan County 4-H clubs recently participated in a window display contest throughout the county as part of National 4-H Week activities Oct. 2-8. This year's theme was "Join the Revolution of Responsibility."

Clubs that participated were Atlanta Ag, with posters at the Atlanta Post Office; Atlanta Town & Country, with a window at Teleological Learning Center in Atlanta; Enthusiastic Achievers, with a window at New Beginnings Thrift Store; 4 Corner Clovers, with a window at Action Rentals in Lincoln; Middletown 4-H'ers, with a display at New Holland-Middletown Elementary School; and Wide-A-Wake 4-H, with a window at Pink Shutter in Lincoln.

First place went to Wide-A-Wake 4-H for their Pink Shutter window; second place was awarded to the 4 Corner Clovers for their window display at Action Rentals; third place was awarded to Atlanta Town & Country for their display at Teleologic Learning Center; fourth place went to Enthusiastic Achievers for their window at New Beginnings Thrift Store; and fifth place went to Middletown 4-H'ers at New Holland-Middletown Elementary School.

In addition, there were two poster winners, Molly Schempp and Julia Griffith, both from the Atlanta Ag 4-H club.
