Daniel McGuire, of Funbelievable Balloons, created a menagerie of animals for the children on Sunday, giving them special souvenirs from the fall festival.

Classes, teachers, organizations and individuals made gift baskets for the silent auction. There was also a 50-50 drawing. Lunch was available in the cafeteria.

Children and young teens seemed to be the best calk walkers on Sunday, winning bags of cookies and other baked goods they could eat as dessert or an afternoon snack.

To raise funds for activities, the student council sold cotton candy, snow cones and caramel apples at the fall festival on Sunday.

Teachers in dunk tanks are a popular feature. Mrs. Sikes, who teaches third and fourth grade, was soaked as she climbed back on the seat for another round. Ms. Faith, preschool and pre-K teacher, also took a turn during the afternoon activity.

Fall festival co-chair Jerry Roate instructed players on programming their laser guns before they fanned out across the laser tag area. The game proved to be a popular and doable pastime for young children and teens.

Brianna Long prepared to take a turn at the slam-dunk basketball game, made challenging by trying to balance and aim while running across the inflatable surface.

Kelsey Treuthart returned to the penny toss board several times, trying to earn tickets for prizes. Jennifer Huynh cleared the board after each player's turn was over.
