A statement issued Friday by lawyers for Deborah Bradley and Jeremy Irwin say the couple has been helpful since they reported their then-10-month-old daughter Lisa missing Oct. 4.
The statement says the couple wants one thing, the safe return of their daughter.
But the statement does not address Friday's release of a search warrant affidavit, which revealed that an FBI cadaver dog reacted to the scent of a dead person during a search of the parents' home on Monday. Phone messages seeking comment on the affidavit haven't been returned.
The statement says the parents have consented to "unfettered access" to their property and allowed police to take hair and other samples.
