[October 28, 2011]  LONDON (AP) -- A local authority in London says it is going to court to evict anti-capitalist protesters camped outside St. Paul's Cathedral.

The City of London Corporation says it is launching legal action on the grounds that the protest is an "unreasonable use of the highway."

Several hundred protesters have been camped outside the building since Oct. 15. Days later, cathedral officials shut the building, saying the campsite represented a health and safety hazard.

It is due to reopen Friday.
