SEPTEMBER 13

BIKE TRAILERS 

Weehoo Inc. is recalling Weehoo iGo Bicycle Pedal Trailers sold nationwide from April 2011 to July 2011. The receiver on the trailer's seat post hitch can crack and cause the trailer to detach, posing fall and crash hazards. 

This recall involves 2011 Weehoo iGo bicycle trailers manufactured between April 2011 and July 2011. The pannier pockets and the flag have the word "Weehoo" and the logo printed on them in reflective material. The serial numbers for the recalled trailers contain the letter "D" and can be found on the underside of the iGo frame, by the pedals.

SEPTEMBER 14

RIDING MOWERS 

Kubota Manufacturing of America Corp. is recalling Riding Mowers sold nationwide from April 2010 to April 2011. The fuel hose clamp can detach from the fuel filter and allow gas to leak out, posing a fire hazard. 

The Kubota Riding Mowers are bright orange, have 48-inch, 54-inch, or 60-inch wide mower decks and have "KUBOTA" stamped on either the sides of the front engine cover, or on the right side behind the driver's seat. The serial number is located on the left front frame for T series models and the right front frame for GR and ZG series models. A complete list can be found at www.recalls.org

JOHN DEERE TRACTORS 

Deere & Company is recalling D100 Lawn Tractors sold nationwide from October 2010 to September 2011. Hardware used to hold the brake assembly to the transmission housing can break. This can cause the brakes to fail, posing an injury hazard due to loss of control. 

The recalled lawn tractors are green with yellow seats and mower decks. Model D100 tractors are included in this recall. The model number is located on both sides of the tractor's hood. Tractors with the serial numbers below are included in this recall. Serial numbers are located under the right rear fender.

LAWN TRACTORS 

Deere & Company is recalling Lawn Tractors sold nationwide from December 2010 to September 2011. Hardware used to hold the mower blade brake assemblies on the mower decks can break. This can cause the mower blades to spin longer than normal after the operator turns off the power, posing a laceration hazard. 

The recalled lawn tractors are green, with yellow seats and mower decks. Model numbers D100, D110, D120, and D130, all with a 42-inch Edge™ Cutting System mower deck, are included in this recall. The model number is located on both sides of the tractor's hood. Lawn tractors with the serial numbers listed at www.recalls.org are included in the recall. The serial number is located under the right rear fender.

DEHUMIDIFIERS 

LG Electronics Tianjin Appliance Co., is recalling 98,000 dehumidifiers sold nationwide from January 2007 to June 2008 that pose a serious fire and burn hazard. The power connector for the dehumidifier's compressor can short circuit, posing fire and burn hazard..

The recall involves the 30 pint portable dehumidifiers sold under the Goldstar and Comfort-Aire brands. "Goldstar" or "Comfort-Aire" is printed on the front. Model and serial number ranges included in this recall are listed at www.recalls.org

SEPTEMBER 15

CHEFMATE BLENDERS 

Target Corporations is recalling Chefmate® 6-Speed Blender sold exclusively at Target stores nationwide from September 2007 to February 2011.  While in operation, the plastic pitcher can separate from the blade assembly, leaving the blade assembly in the base and exposing the rotating blades. This poses a laceration hazard. 

This recall affects all Chefmate® 6-Speed Blenders, model BL-10. The model number is located on the bottom of the base. 

Consumers should return the blenders to any Target store to receive a full refund.

SEPTEMBER 16

JOHN DEERE TRACTORS 

Deere & Company is recalling John Deere X300, X300R and X304 series tractors sold nationwide at John Deere dealers from September 2010 to August 2011. The cooling fan installed on top of the front mounted Kawasaki engine in the lawn tractor can break. If the cooling fan is not operational, the engine can overheat causing the surrounding plastic to melt, creating the risk of fire and serious injury. 

This recall involves John Deere X300, X300R and X304 Select Series™ Lawn Tractors with Kawasaki FS541V engines manufactured between September 20, 2010 and July 21, 2011. A complete list can be found at www.recalls.org

Customers should contact a John Deere dealer to make arrangements to have the engine cooling fan replaced.
