Sizemore arrested on battery warrant

[September 21, 2011]  LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Los Angeles police say they have arrested actor Tom Sizemore on an outstanding warrant for misdemeanor battery.

Officer Rosario Herrera says the 49-year-old was arrested early Tuesday. The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department website says Sizemore has posted $26,000 bail and has been released.

A phone message left for his agent, Cynthia Booth, was not immediately returned.

Sizemore, who appeared in "Black Hawk Down" and "Saving Private Ryan," has had a string of drug-related arrests in recent years. He was convicted in 2003 of domestic violence involving his ex-girlfriend, former Hollywood madam Heidi Fleiss.
