Germanfest will be Saturday, October 15th at St. John United
Church of Christ, 204 Seventh Street. A German or Hot
Dog meal with be served from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. with
“The Alley Kats Band” performing then as well. Market
Strasse, the craft/home show vendors and used book sale,
will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
German meal tickets are $9, with the hot dog meal tickets
being $3.50. Drive thru carry-out will be available and free
delivery in town with order of 6 or more pre-paid tickets.

donated to various mission projects.
Community Communion at First Baptist, 101 Broadway,
will begin on Tuesdays every week beginning in September at
11:00 AM. A short devotion will precede the service that
will last approximately 20 minutes. Invite a friend or
neighbor or someone that may truly need this time with God
and join Pastor Robert on September 6th. Thank you.
Wednesday, Sept. 28th at 7 a.m. is “See You
At the Pole” (SYATP). This a student led prayer time at
your school’s flagpole.

Holy Family is hosting its family fun and community
togetherness Fall Festival/Chili Supper on Sunday,
October 9th from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at
Carroll Catholic School. Included in the family fun
activities will be inflatables, carnival games with
prizes, calk walk, haunted house, face painting, laser
tag and a dunk tank all for the wristband price of only
$10, which includes all activities for the entire
event. Other activities include basket raffles, 50/50
drawing, caramel apples, snow cones and soda. Public is
invited.
