The place to be -- Lincoln Junior High School
hosted its annual open house Thursday night and invited visitors to
enjoy an ice cream social. LJHS has sixth- through eighth-graders,
and this school year's attendance is over 380 students.

Mr. Bob Jones, eighth-grade math teacher, had a welcome screen on
his Promethean board displaying a page from the school's website.
The junior high has 11 of the high-tech electronic boards and hopes
to add more by the end of the school year. |

Eighth-grade students Zac McCray and Abby Everson were volunteers
who helped to make the ice cream social a success during Lincoln
Junior High School's annual open house.

At the end of the evening Mr. Lanning, seventh-grade geography
teacher, spoke with Mr. Workman, assistant principal; Mr. Backes,
guidance counselor; and Principal Kent Froebe. The administrators
served ice cream throughout the evening while teachers met with
parents and scheduled conferences for October. |
