Story times and craft classes -- The
fall session of story times and craft classes will begin the last
week of September.
Story time classes offered are Lapsit for 6 months through
2-year-olds, Beginning Book Buddies for 3- to 4-year-olds and Ready
Readers for 5- to 7-year-olds. Story time signup begins Sept. 19,
with a one-time signup for the seven-week session. Choose either
Tuesdays or Wednesdays at 10 a.m. for the younger classes, and the
5- to 7-year-olds meet on Tuesdays at 3:30. These classes will meet
once a week from Sept. 20 to Nov. 2. Registration is required for
accurate planning.
Craft class is offered for 8- to 12-year-olds each Thursday at
3:30 p.m. from Sept. 22 through Oct. 27. This is a separate signup
for each class you want to attend, with signup one week prior to
each class. A list with the craft for each session is available in
the Youth Services Department. Registration is required for accurate

The Lincoln Public Library
is
located at 725 Pekin St., with adult nonfiction and
reference materials in the historic Carnegie Building. The Annex directly behind
houses adult fiction and the
Youth Services Department.
