Saturday afternoon the Lincoln
Art Institute was abuzz with folks dropping in to view the
photographic art of local artist Randy Washam.
Washam uses a variety of digital techniques to
turn everyday things into extraordinary works of art.

Many of Washam's pieces are scenic, but there
were also some amazing pieces like this motorcycle, which is tagged
as being Jason Guy's. |

This work is simply titled "Not Junk."
|
The mark of a true work of art is that it will
spur the imagination and stir the emotions. This piece,
entitled "Pure Joy," does just that.

In addition to Washam's show, there are
several other pieces on display at the Art Institute every day.
|
A variety of mediums are included in
the gallery, and according to owner Toby Prang, all are for sale. |
