Illinois country grain prices were mixed on Thursday afternoon,
with soybeans and corn higher and wheat lower. Both corn and
soybean futures were given a boost from higher than expected
weekly export sales figures with both above 1.0 million metric
tonnes.
In Northern and Western Illinois country grain dealers quoted
shelled corn bids 1 cent higher at 6.38-6.48. Soybean bids
traded 12 to 15 cents higher at 14.04-14.20.
In Central Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn
bids were 2 cents higher at 6.51-6.66. Soybean bids were 14 to
15 cents higher at 14.11-14.23.
In the Southern part of the state, shelled corn bids were 1 cent
higher at 6.54-6.78. Soybean bids were 15 cents higher at
14.19-14.35. Wheat bids were mixed at 6.17-6.39.
