The Lincoln & Logan County
Development Partnership, in coordination with the 21st Century
Infrastructure & Entrepreneurialism Committee of Logan County 2.0,
recently received a generous donation of chairs, desks and cubicles.
The donation came from ATS of Peoria and consists of 38 workstations
valued between $500 and $1,000 each.

The committee and the development partnership have decided to
give away a portion of this gift to Logan County businesses. If you
are the owner of a business and have an interest in a workstation,
go to www.lincolnlogan.com
and fill out the online
application form. Applications will be reviewed by the 21st
Century Infrastructure & Entrepreneurialism Committee of Logan
County 2.0 for completeness, impact and size of request.
Applications will be accepted until April 27, with the intent that
recipients will be notified by May 4.
The other half of the furniture will be used to help establish
the development partnership's business incubator. This project will
help promote and foster new business in Logan County.
The collaborative expresses its sincerest thanks to the
volunteers who worked to move the office furniture from ATS in
Peoria to Lincoln. It was estimated by a professional furniture
company to take three days of work. Through the hard work and
dedication of the volunteers, the entire lot of office furniture was
disassembled, packed and stored in two days. Volunteers were Mark
Houpt, Bob Pharis, Murray Doolin, Patrick Doolin, Tyler Kirk,
Brenton Finchum, David Wilmert, Cole Awe and Jeremy Todd.
